The BIG Step

Okay, I did it...I sent in my agreement to enroll with the Institute for Children's Literature. For a few years now, I've felt in my gutt that I was going to be a writer of Children's Books. Not to mention my passion for children's literature as a classroom teacher just fostered that idea. It wasn't until my husband and I sat together talking about what else I should do while on leave from teaching to care for our three children. My husband brought up the idea of writing. So I did some research and found the ICL. I took the amplitude test, and a few days later my acceptance package came. How can this be so simple? You see, I've been praying about it. I've been praying to God to lead me in the direction He intends me to be. Everything about moving forward with this just seems so right. I feel God is calling me to be a writer to inspire children and let them know of His greatness. I am so excited as I begin this journey and develop into a writer as He intended me to be. I pray that I will be obedient and disciplined on this journey. I am excited to see what unravels as I take those first few steps on this path.
